11 Second Club

11 second club from trent correy on Vimeo.

This is my 11 second club entry for August, I had alot of fun animating it, and I hope to do that competition again! Next time I am definately going to focus more on story and acting, as apposed to character(and just getting the damn thing done!). If you think this is worthy, toss me a vote at The 11 Second Club !! All revisions and comments are much appreciated, I'm either going to clean and colour this one, or do the September competition, so they will help ALOT! Thanks!!!!! Enjoy!....Below is my thought process, doodles, thumbs and linetests! (you might have to "refresh" to leave a comment.

**** I almost forgot, I am now offically an Animation Mentor student, starting September 28th!!!!

This is really awesome man, my only crit would be that I think the whole static/nuke thingy at the end is a little to quick, was so fast after he pushes the button that it took me a couple plays to realsie what was going on. Otehrwise really fantastic though.

Congrats on getting into Anim mentor!

F*ck Trent, now I see the animation! (sorry I didn't do it before). I wanted to know but I have to go through 188 animations! What the hell? Can you give us a link or something?
As for the animation, it's great, I see you're refining your character animation skills, the guy got personality and the inbetweens are really smooth. My only crit would be to make it smoother into the held cells. Oh, and the end was kinda random, but I guess you were out of time o.o Cool!

Hey Trent,

I am a fellow Algonquin College grad too. I graduated in 2001. You won't believe how time fly's by.ha.

I also checked out your student film, very cool! I wish I would have had something that nice when I finished school. I see you are also going to be doing Animation Mentor, that's awesome.
I'm hoping to do another 11 Sec. again.
Don't forget to keep drawing and observing:)
I will be hitting your blog now.

Booming eh?? Interesting, can you tell me what productions are in the works? Right now it's looking as though I'll be animating on Stoked, but you never know - and I'm just interested!

All hail Cameron.

Hey man thanks for the comment, yeah I started messing around teaching myself 3D a little while ago, more so since I stopped working.

cheers for the comments on my blog, dude. It's really appreciated.

This is some stellar animation. Very fluid, with great acting. I can't say much more, because, well, I haven't animated in 3 years, but I dig it.
