September 11 Second Club....round 2

Untitled from trent correy on Vimeo.

I thought I'd try this months 11 second club again. Last month I received an 18th/188 entries, I'm hoping to improve upon that... This took me about 20 days...I kind of got uninterested in this during the last week, but I am happy to have finished it. Thanks to Collin for helping me refine the character, and to Ian and Collin for animation feedback. Some of the best feedback I received was from my girlfriend Gillian, an outsiders opinion is always great!
Stay Tooned for more!
If you think it's worhty, you have until October 5th to throw me a vote! Thanks!

Hey man, this look really really awesome, I really like the character design on this one, and the acting is really nice. My only real crit would be the bird - looks kinda lifeless, but I'm sure you know that.

I just finished my entry too, but I'm sure you're gonna beat me in the rankings on this one.

Hey thanks guys! Stefan, your entry was sweet....esp for never learning 3d
-Mel....your too nice man
-Thanks Chris...ya it's a cracker...or it was supposed to be, maybe colour would help that better; or just a better story in general!
glad you liked it, thanks for the feedback!

Hey Trent. Always appreciate you being a supporter of my art. My apologies for not being around the SketchBlog much. Really busy. Still check it out though.

Man, can you move a character. So great to see people still rockin' pencil and paper. I do think the acting could be a BIT clearer on this particular piece, but even still, she moves damn well.

its looking great. movment is really nice.I think the bird is helarious although its not moving a lot, I think it works with the idea, very comic.the design for the lady is solid but I have a feeling if u had more time it would have been even better.I really wanna start doing 11 seconed club as well...been kinda busy latly. have you started animation mentor yet?

Oh man I'm late!!!! Nooo!! Ah well T_T
This is gorgeous animation Trent! You're doing better and better with character animation! Is this all animation mentor or what? I love the subtetlies (sp?), like eyes moving, head rotating, hands gesturing. And that was a great rotation at the beginning! The bird is funny as hell! I just wonder, what's that pill thing she got in her hand? Hope you get within the top 10 this month!

Hey Trent,

Nice work on last months 11 second Club!...
yeah, the Ottawa Animation Festival looks like it has a lot to offer this year, so I'm definitely thinking about making the trip.
You mentioned you were going to be starting Animation Mentor, how is that going? I'm sure you heard the recent podcast from some of the graduates who landed jobs @ Disney. Pretty cool to hear what they had to say, huh?
well, keep up the good work!
